Introduction to Pe Tarpaulin
PE tarpaulins are generally produced using HDPE, which is high-density polyethylene, which is generally in the form of white or transparent powder or granules.
The hardness and tensile strength of HDPE are better than that of low-density polyethylene. The film has low permeability to water vapor and air and low water absorption. It is usually used as the base fabric of PE waterproof tarpaulin, so PE tarpaulin has the characteristics of high strength, Tear-resistant features. When the tarpaulin is fixed and tightened, it is subject to tension or additional forces such as wind, rain, snow, etc. The tarpaulin can still maintain its original shape and will not be easily deformed.
After that, we will apply a film on both sides of the base fabric. Its material is LDPE. This film determines the color of the PE tarpaulin and ensures that the tarpaulin is rainproof and waterproof.
This three-layer structure is currently the most widely used tarpaulin in the industry.
